My Story – Ed Hamilton, Business Coach

I left the comfort of a well-paying investment banking job to travel with my wife and  settle in a city where we didn´t speak the language or know anyone at the start of the financial crisis and started Green Bean Financial & Business Coaching.

A friend just recently summed up what it is to be a business owner when he said “you have a whole new bag of unique worries and stresses and you have to be SO organised, but man, doesn’t it feel good!”  And yes, the satisfaction of succeeding in your business and personal goals is a great yet unfortunately scarce feeling – but that is my passion, that is why I help my clients´ businesses grow – seeing that satisfaction of success.

It is through these same strategies I coach my clients that I have been able to successfully grow my practice here in Barcelona.   Why financial and business coaching?  Having played sports at an international level I know the importance of coaching, captaincy and self-discipline.  Meanwhile, being educated in finance and business management and working internationally in business it became apparent that one needs both skill sets (the business acumen and discipline) to reach our potential.  Coaching seemed a natural fit to my skill sets and passion.

My constant reward is knowing that I chose my path and that I made my dream a reality.   I hope to collaborate with others so we both can keep pushing towards our goals.
